Business Coaching and Marketing Strategies to Accelerate Your Growth

Episode 149 —Biblical Manifestation for Female Entrepreneurs: How Your Words Are Shaping Your Business

What if the thing holding your business back isn’t your strategy, your budget, or your time but your words? As female entrepreneurs and women of faith, we spend so much time reflecting on our actions. But how often do we stop and think about what’s actually coming out of our mouths?

At Ms. Biz, we recently dove deep into one of the most talked-about, and most misunderstood, topics in both faith and business: manifestation. And we want to be clear: we’re not talking about vision boards and good vibes. We’re talking about what the Bible has been saying for thousands of years, and what neuroscience is only now catching up to.

What Is Manifestation And Is It Biblical?

At its core, manifestation is the idea that your thoughts, beliefs, and words have the power to shape your reality. In popular culture, it’s often tied to the law of attraction, scripting, and affirmations. And yes, some of that world has drifted into territory that doesn’t align with our faith.

But here’s what’s fascinating: the core principle that words and belief influence outcomes is woven throughout scripture. The difference for us as Christians is the source of that power. It’s not our will. It’s not the universe. It’s God. And that distinction changes everything.

We prefer to call it faith-filled declaration and it’s not new age. It’s ancient truth.

What the Bible Says About the Power of Your Words

The Bible does not shy away from the power of spoken words. In fact, it’s one of the most consistent themes across both testaments. Consider these scriptures:

  • Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.”
  • Job 22:28 “You will declare a thing and it will be established for you.”
  • Mark 11:24 “Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
  • 2 Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

God himself spoke the world into existence. The creative, generative power of the spoken word is literally the first thing we learn about God in scripture. If that doesn’t convince you that words carry weight, we don’t know what will.

The Concerns Worth Taking Seriously

We don’t want to dismiss the legitimate concerns about manifestation in Christian circles. Popular manifestation culture can become self-centered placing us in the driver’s seat instead of God. There’s also the danger of prosperity theology taken to an extreme, where we believe God is obligated to give us whatever we want if we just believe hard enough. That’s not faith. That’s attempting to control God.

Biblical declaration is not about controlling God. It’s about agreeing with what He has already said. It’s about taking His Word off the page and putting it into your mouth and then trusting Him for the results.

5 Faith-Grounded Practices to Transform Your Business

1. Start Your Day With a Declaration

Before you scroll, before you check email open your mouth and declare who God says you are. Try: “I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me” (Romans 8:37). There’s something about hearing your own voice declare truth that rewires your brain and anchors your spirit.

2. Replace Fear Talk With Faith Talk

The next time you catch yourself saying “I can’t afford that” or “nothing ever works out for me” — pause. Reframe it. Say instead: “God meets all of my needs according to His riches in glory” (Philippians 4:19). That’s not denial of reality. It’s choosing a higher reality.

3. Use a Scripture-Rooted Vision Board

Vision boards are not inherently secular. Fill yours with scripture alongside your goals and watch it become a daily visual declaration rooted in what God is capable of — not just what you are.

4. Keep a Prayer Journal as a Declaration Log

Write down what you’re believing for, date it, declare it, and come back to record what God did. Faith grows when it has a track record to stand on.

5. Speak Life Over Your Business Daily

Create five to ten declarations specifically for your business and speak them every day. Examples: “God will open doors no one can shut.” “The right clients and opportunities are drawn to this business.” “Excellence and integrity are the hallmark of everything we do.”

What Science Says About the Power of Spoken Words

Science keeps catching up to what God told us thousands of years ago:

The tongue has the power of life and death and now we have the MRI scans to prove it.

Your 7 Day Declaration Challenge

Here’s your challenge this week: write down one declaration for your personal life and one for your business. Root each one in a specific Bible verse. Speak them out loud every single morning for seven days and come back and tell us what shifts.

Your next chapter doesn’t start when things get easier. It starts the moment you open your mouth and declare it. Speak it. Believe it. Watch it happen.
